The Academia Hispánica’s Spanish courses are designed to cover the students’ different needs. The classes last 55 minutes and there is a maximum of 8 students per group. Students who know some Spanish can start any Monday during the year; however, complete beginners or courses of Language and Culture, DELE and Summer Teenagers courses must start on certain fixed days.
Academia Hispánica offers following Spanish courses:
General Intensive: This is the most popular course among our students as it allows them to combine intensive language training with time enough for leisure. The minimum duration is 2 weeks (we recommend students at least 3 weeks to get the most out of their stay).
Intensive Plus: This is an intensive program which combines general group classes with additional one to one tuition. This course is ideal for students who want to improve their linguistic skills in the minimum time possible.
General Extensive: In addition to our intensive courses, Academia Hispánica offers extensive courses from October till June! These courses are perfect for international university students or residents of Córdoba.
Dele Extensive: The Institute Cervantes runs official exams to obtain the Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE), accredited by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Spain. In Córdoba exams are organized twice yearly, in November and May. There are three linguistic levels to attain, Inicial (Beginner), Intermedio (Intermediate) and Superior (Advanced).
Tailormade Courses: Tailormade courses are specially design for students wishing to come in groups, Colleges, schools, universities, etc. wishing to send groups abroad can apply for these courses. The teaching material and timetable can be adapted to meet the groups’ needs and preferences.
Language and Culture: This course is specially designed for adults who want to make the most of a two-week stay in Cordoba to combine learning Spanish with an in-depth knowledge of the culture, history, monuments and traditions of one of the most beautiful and best preserved historical cities in Andalucia.
Buen Apetito Course: Buen Apetito course Spanish and Mediterranean cookery, with a special focus on andalusian, and in particular cordoban cuisine.
