Scholarship Description:A Post-Doctoral Research Associate position is available immediately into the development and application of electron ptychography. The successful applicant will be part of a large EPSRC-funded collaborative project led by the University of Sheffield in which Cambridge is developing quantitative medium-resolution electron ptychography in combination with electron tomography.

The project will involve a mix of experimental work, recording serial coherent diffraction patterns, and computation, adapting existing software to extend the technique to 3D. Applicants must have experience of transmission electron microscopy, electron diffraction, image processing and have good programming skills.
